It’s designed for UK homebuyers, especially first-time buyers or anyone attending viewings who wants a quick, informal assessment of a property’s condition before making an offer.
Is usurv.ai a replacement for a traditional surveyor?
No. usurv.ai provides an informal visual scan based on your photos. It complements, but does not replace, professional surveys used for legal, insurance, or mortgage purposes.
Is usurv.ai available outside the UK?
Currently, usurv.ai is only available for use in the UK. The app has been specifically developed and trained for UK housing types, common construction materials, and property issues. This ensures accurate and relevant results for UK buyers.

What does the report show?
Each scan provides a Property Health Score (out of 1,000), highlights visible issues, and categorises them by type (damp, cracks, mould, etc.) and severity.
Can I download or share the report?
In-app sharing is available now. A downloadable PDF report and share-to-tradesperson feature are coming soon.
Will it estimate repair costs?
This feature is coming soon! Future versions of usurv.ai will offer repair cost estimates based on issue type and severity.
Will it tell me what to do next?
Basic guidance is provided now, and follow-up Q&A with the AI and remediation plans are in development.

Where can I download the app?
usurv.ai is available now on both the App Store and Google Play. A web-based version is coming soon for desktop use.
Is it free?
Yes! The app is free to download and use. Core features are available without payment. Paid options for additional features may be introduced in future.
How do I use the app?
Choose either a “Quick Scan” (for a specific issue) or a guided “Survey” (for full-property insight). Upload photos from your phone, and you’ll get a report within seconds.
Do I need any special equipment?
Nope, just your phone. usurv.ai is built mobile-first to work seamlessly at viewings or after with saved photos.
Technical & Accuracy
How accurate is the analysis?
Our AI is fine-tuned to detect common visible defects in UK properties. However, it may miss hidden or misrepresented issues, and AI does make mistakes.
What if I forget to upload a key photo?
The report is only based on what you submit. You can upload images later, but if you have already submitted the report you will need to do this via the Quick Scan option.
How fast are results generated?
Reports are typically ready in under 30 seconds after uploading your photos.
Is my data secure?
Yes, all data is encrypted and securely stored in servers in the UK. You can delete your scans or your entire account at any time.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, you can delete individual scans or your entire account and data from within the app.
